Everything you type into the calculator itself — filing status, conversion amount, income, savings, return assumptions — stays in your browser. None of it is sent anywhere, stored, or seen by us. Separately, this site uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which use cookies to measure traffic and serve ads. Those are unrelated to your calculator inputs and are covered in detail below.
The calculator's math runs entirely client-side, in JavaScript, in your browser. The values you enter into any field, slider, or toggle are never transmitted to a server, logged, or stored anywhere. Reloading the page or closing the tab clears them completely.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how many people visit the site and roughly how they found it. This only runs if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit — declining, or not responding, means Google Analytics never loads. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so you're not asked again.
When active, Google Analytics may set cookies and collect standard technical information such as your approximate location (city/region level, from IP address), browser and device type, pages visited, and how you arrived at the site. We've enabled IP anonymization. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually by us.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Ad requests are configured to be non-personalized — we don't use AdSense's personalized/interest-based ad targeting, so no consent-based ad-personalization profile is built for you through this site. Google and its advertising partners may still use cookies for basic ad delivery, frequency capping, and fraud prevention, as described in Google's own policies:

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
